BOB HARRISONPAINTINGSBob Harrison

About

I'm Bob Harrison, and I paint small. Each painting is fifteen centimetres square, made in about five hours, from the real thing in front of me.

Mostly that's everyday objects: a cut-glass tumbler, a tin of olives, a salt shaker, a sandwich. Things nobody looks at twice until they're painted, and then everyone seems to remember one just like it. Now and then it's a place instead, at the time of day when the light does something worth keeping.

I work from home in North Devon. New paintings go out every Friday evening, a day earlier to the mailing list. Each one is a single original, signed and dated on the back, tray-framed, and posted to you in plastic-free packaging.
